Yay! Goin' on vacation soon! We'll drop the pig off in Monticello and head up to Michigan on Saturday. We can't wait for some time off. Should be a nice relaxing week.
In other news...
On Sunday we ordered a new countertop at Lowe's. It is a Formica solid surface countertop. The color is called Mocha Spex which is pretty much brown with black and white specks. We will have that professionally installed along the the sink, faucet, and garbage disposal that we will pick out and bring home from Lowe's. We will also have the old counter professionally taken out since we are soooo not handy that way. Of course, then we will have to paint the kitchen, which is attached to the dining room, which is attached to the living room. It all just snowballs! Oh, the joys of homeownership!
Matt got braces about two weeks ago. He just has them on the top for now but will get them on the bottom by year's end. You can't really see them most of the time, just when he smiles. They hurt at first, but he is starting to get used to them.
I better end this post before I use up all of my interesting information!
