HOT weekend!

I hope all of you who wanted the warm summer weather are happy now! ;) This weather is just too sticky hot!

Jerry update: He was home for almost a week then went back to the hospital last Sunday night with some problems with the wound vac. They had him go back to UIHC to stay and await his next surgery, which was scheduled for Wednesday. Then the surgery was pushed back to Friday morning, then pushed back to later afternoon. A skin graft was taken from his leg and placed on the arm. Now awaiting word as to when he can go back home. Still thinking about you,Jerry, Mel, Gary, and Brendan!

Thursday, we took the afternoon off, so Matt could go to the dentist to have two wisdom teeth and two baby teeth pulled. He also took Friday off. No swelling, bruising, or really any pain. When things are all healed, he'll get a couple of implants placed where the baby teeth came out.

Yesterday, we went to Applebee's then went to a movie. We saw "The Proposal." It was cute and funny, but predictable. We haven't been to a movie for a long time, so it was kind of like a date night, but it was the matinee because that is cheaper!! :)

Today, I scrubbed the kitchen while Matt studied for his accounting test next week. Ate lunch, took a nap (niiiiice!) during the Indy race, and went for a car ride. Won't even mention that we had to stop at Wal-Mart to get guinea pig chips because Wal-Mart sucks!!
