The gas tank in the Trail Blazer was very low tonight. Desi filled it up, and it cost less than $35!!! Gas is $1.97 in Altoona!
And Desi said we would never see it less than $2.00 a gallon again in our lifetime.
Tomorrow night is Beggars Night. In Des Moines and surrounding areas, the kids don't trick or treat on Halloween night. That would just be silly. We do it the night before. How lame.
Joe Biden called us today to personally invite us to watch Barack Obama on prime time TV tonight. Too bad we missed it. We had to get the tires rotated on the Trail Blazer. Then we had to grab supper (Panera again), and I got a haircut. No time for politics. Less than a week, and the mess will be over. Thank goodness.

Holy nuggets! I saw that gas was 2.19 here and about lost it! Crazy! (Not complaining, though!)
Happy Halloween everyone! Gas still $2.49 in 'obama-state'. What did he ever do a as a senator from Illinois? Not a darn thing except campaign for president. What a waste of my tax payer money! -rah
