Lights under the snow on Mom and Dad's bush in front of the house.
Our Chrismas tree. We bought a pre-lit tree last year after Christmas- on sale of course! It is so tall (or the ceiling is so low), we can't get a topper on it.
The boys are playing. Matt, Gary, and Brendan.
When we were opening presents, Brendan decided he was a kitty. He didn't speak, just meowed and pushed his presents around with his head. We knew he was done when he stood up and told Matt, "I'm Brendan!" and began speaking. Silly kid!
Gary and his papa playing Whac-a-mole.
Well, the official holiday is over. We had a good time in Monticello the past few days.
Matt and I both worked half of a day on Christmas Eve. Matt drove to Newton, and we left for Monticello from there. Visited with Matt's parents for a little while before they had to leave for church. We also saw their new bathroom remodel. It is beautiful! Then we went to my Mom and Dad's, ate potato soup, and went to Christmas Eve services. After church, I ate some more soup (oink, oink) and we watched " A Christmas Story." You'll shoot your eye out!!
Christmas Day we went to Mel and Jerry's for lunch and present opening. It was Matt and I, Mom and Dad, Mel and Jerry, Gary and Brendan, and our two Grandmas. We also played some Thomas and Friends DVD Bingo. Gary knows all of the characters. Amazing.
Our travel was uneventful, as the roads were good both ways. The worst were the city streets in Monticello after their 7" of snow. We drove around in 4 wheel drive in town. The city crew is short staffed since Matt's dad retired.
Hopefully, the weather will hold out for this weekend when we will travel back to Center Junction for lunch at Grandma's on Saturday and to Monticello for Christmas at the Kray's.
Then, some time when we are actually home, and it isn't snowing, I can pick out my new bike that Matt is getting me for Christmas! Yay!
Hope everyone had a good holiday!

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing. -rah
so, now that the tree is up for the first year, how do you like it??
It definitely went up a lot faster than the old one. Took a lot of fluffing. I think it looks fine.
